Release Version 4.01

Doc Assembler Version 4.01 has been released with the following improvements:

Adding Users in Bulk from Active Directory

If you have Azure Active Directory integration in place then users can be added in bulk by selecting from a list of users from Active Directory. The list of users is populated by retrieving all members of the “Doc Assembler” Active Directory group. Existing users are excluded from the list.

  • Multiple users can be selected at the same time.

  • A “Select All” feature is provided

  • Users can be searched for using a partial text search e.g. search for all users that contain the specified search text somewhere in their name

  • The following attributes for the new users can be specified:

  • _ User Type_
  • _ Can Vote in Meeting_
  • _ Can Upload Item Content_
  • You can optionally elect to send out an email to each new user that contains their Doc Assembler account details.

Assignments Improvements

Reviewer notification emails will now only be sent when all owner\/co-author assignments have been completed.

The interface used to add assignments in various places throughout Doc Assembler now uses a checkbox list with the following improvements:

  • It is easier to select multiple users – no more need to hold down the Ctrl or Shift keys

  • A “Select All” feature is provided

  • Users can be searched for using a partial text search e.g. search for all users that contain the specified search text somewhere in their name

Other

  • All publish destination properties now carry through correctly when creating a new document from a template.

  • Fixed issues with font size and line height in text editors

  • Prevented assignment notification emails being sent out when an assignment is made to a template

  • Ensured that a document still appears on the Documents Overview page even if does not yet contain any report items

  • Added a faint horizontal line and a small amount of padding between items in the Document List
